i mite get flamed for putting this down... but heck!!!

watched sg idols piano show last nite, n was clearly disappointed at de performances... think de judges were very nice already, cos if it was simon cowell, it wuld be ugly... real ugly...

i was not at all convinced tt any of de 7 gals were of idol quality... true, some of them sang quite well when it comes to de standards of ktv-ing, but for a show like dis we wanna be entertained!!! to be entertained is to be hearing u singing songs mi dear gals! to pour ur emotions in wad ure singing! its music tt r supposed to be coming out of ur mouths!!! its not reading lyrics!!!

thr were some whu went off-keys!!! n they r amongst top 28 of god noes how many thousands tt took part!!! i was speechless!!!

it may be tt im asking for too high a standard, n some wuld retort tt i wun be able to sing as well as any of them, but these ppl r given de chance to represent sg as our very own idol!!! how not to be strict???

todae, 2 emerged out of de 7... n im glad tt they at least have some standards... congrats to rahimah n jasmine!!! but i seriously hope they improve, cos either wad they sang wuld not get them far in de race, or tt we can see de standards of sg idol entertainment has dropped...

anywae, simple advice: contestants, sing well; de rest, vote wisely...

to top it off, mi verdict for SINGAPORE IDOLS 2006 so far... NOT GOOD!!!
