THE DA VINCI CODE
the movie event of the year... NOT!!!!!!

really disappointed at tt 2 hr hubluh they call a movie... its really boring!!! it doesnt show de excitement n stuff illustrated in de book, be it in solving de puzzles and escaping... everything was sooo... CUT SHORT!!!

dis movie didn do any justice to the masterpiece Dan Brown created... it took out so much of the important stuff! ok i noe tt time n filmroll is limited... but dun just take out stuff like tt, it will leave readers of de book shortchanged n de non-readers confused! some parts just dun link!!! for someone whu has recently finished reading de book, i felt tt de movie was utterly crappy...

1 phrase sums it all...

n dis movie made mi miss de 9pm chn 8 show... grr...

Qetest outing todae!!! Wow... culd say tt it was really fun haz... We played arcade at ps, nearly played pool but got stopped short cos no tables, nearly went for MI3 bur stopped short cos de timings were too late, had dinner, n went to de new cathay cineplex to erm... "recce" haz...

Dinner was like some usual grp outing fare at Fish n Co... foods good, as usual... mundane... haz... thr was a live band, which i dun think i really classify them as "live" cos they sound so "no life"... hahaha...

But cathay was great! we didn noe tt todae was de premiere of The Da Vinci's Code!!! So we innocently wandered into cathay n saw a lot of mediacopr artistes!!! xiang yun, yvonne lim, kelly poon, patricia mok, tay ping hui... haz got so many! but too bad, im not tt interested in them anywae... them aside, we saw tt cathay was mostly unopened yet... too new ba so shops havent move in yet, so far got an adida's shop, a BIG ben n jerry's cafe, n some other shops... oh yah dis is for all NUS ppl whu read mi blog, Munchie Monkey gonna open a branch at de cathay!!! BE SHOCKED!!! haz...

yea so tt sums up de outing haz... sounds crappy but its not bad la for a 1st outing, n im not de onie one whu say it was fun lor!!!

some other things tt happened to mi:

1. sg poolz dun wan mi... haiz no more world cup job liao... sianz...

2. bought a PINK shirt! yea finally huh? hahaha...

guess we do have wad ppl call a balanced day huh? well, something like tt happened to me todae... something good n something bad haz...

bad news 1st:

i remember vividly 2 hrs ago i was still reeling frm de shock of mi failed Internal Hunt trial... yah its ideas were not tt popular, and they requested for some amendments, but dis little excuse does not take away de fact tt i too was at fault!

in short, i did not put enuff effort to preparing it, n ended up doing a lot of last min work... another case of poor time management on mi part... in short, as a gd fren of mine said, "neglected" it... haiz...

learnt dis de hard way, i really gotta pull miself together n start thinking! get dis rerouting done asap, so tt i can arrange for another date whr i can go down to test it out miself! i got another trial to do it good, n im not gonna waste it!

for those pplz whu r tending to mi stations in dis Internal Hunt, I'M REALLY SORRY!!! feel bad having to ask u all to come down again, aft such a tiring, but partially wasted trial... but I'm sure we will do it better!!!

one more thing abt dis, i really really have to thank mi frens whu helped mi wif dis... thanx fred, denise, zip, zhenqin n others for ur positive feedbacks, even thou u all endured all de nonsense i put u all up wif... to de ppl of mi new grp Qetest, althou u all didn noe i was down, just chatting online abt outing tmr, arcade n soccer really lifted mi spirits! thanks to u all!!! thr was also xinyi whu listened to mi harpings, bitchings, n yakkings of tt failed trial, mi foul mood, n mi feelings of guilt... thanx gal!!! ure de bestest!!!

now de good news:

ive been accepted to work as a part-time sales promoter for E Book Systems! I will be marketing and selling the Flipalbum software... will tell u all wad tt thing is soon when i start work, not now haz, but one thing i have to say is tt its a damn good n interesting product! mi pay is really sky-high for a part time promoter, but i shant tell u all how much i earn... protect de interests of E Book Systems haz... see i sooooo loyal...

tmr will be mi training day as a poolsconnect cust service rep! gotta sleep soon, n rest well, so tt i can be refreshed for mi training!

ok as expected, i woke up at 2pm todae...

but gotta say, last nite at Thumper was DARN FUN!!! makes mi lurve clubbing again... more than ever!!! drank n danced till ULTRA HIGH!!! no wonder tt place was once known as the best nitespot in town!!! great music, great place!!! wad more can u ask for???

a small prob is de crowd... they r waaaayyyy beyond mi age group haz... a bit erm... old haz... yea we were easily de youngest grp of ppl thr - a grp of 20-23 amongst a crowd of mostly 25-40... well wad can i say if im waaayyy below de age limit n was onie allowed in thru sheer benevolence of the nice door lady??? really muz thank her properly nxt time man!!!

one more thing, BEEP remains one of mi fave songs... n tt was reinforced during mi clubbing experience last nite!!! BEEP ROX MAN!!!

even thou i woke up aching all over todae, i nvr regretted tt nite haz!

great nite i had!!!

for one, i have been quite indifferent to politics... even in de light of this upcoming elections...

however, i am truly disappointed wif the dishonesty of one particular candidate, and his party for covering his misdeeds...

u culd guess whr mi vote will eventually go to...

haz... nvr realise tt i wuld get so emotional over just one soccer match... but thr was a match i caught recently which really got mi pissed off!!!

tt match reaffirmed mi dislike to one particular person, specifically a manager to some particular team... i cant name him cos i dun wanna be slapped a lawsuit... too bad, im just a poor budding university student, while he manages a team... onie thing i gotta say is, his team dons a blue colour...

say truly, any team under dis man is bound to misfortune... ok i admit tt he's a good strategist, n his methods has given his team results like no other, bagging awards aft another... but hes an arrogant bastard! giving himself godlike nicknames, which i nvr heard of anyone else doing tt... doesnt he noe tt de players he amassed r world-class? wif dis kinda team, it aint any tough to get such results... n also, de fees paid to these players didn come frm his pocket! so wads so special abt tt guy?

dis guy does not care a hoot abt his player's welfare... i mean, wad kinda manager wuld leave an injured player in de field limping for more than an hr, without calling for any substitution? i think ive said enuff abt tt... up to u all to think...

now, im not really any supporter of any teams... dis guy gives mi another reason to watch soccer haz... man i wanna see de day he gets kicked out of his team... see how smug he can be aft tt...

ok ive done letting mi air out!!! last words, i pity his players...
