alright... all of u finish exams already...

i thot i had too... already in de post-exam mood... enjoying miself wif de martinis, de swim, de bike, de chionging etc... but i had to be constantly reminded tt I HAVE ONE LAST PAPER, EVEN THOU IT'S S/U BASIS!!!

mi mum, mi aunts, mi frens all r telling mi to study hard... n all de good luck they wished... really thankful, but i think it kinda spoiled mi mood... alwaes reminded of de paper im having 2 days later...

just 1 more day... 1 more day... n CHIONGING will have a totally different meaning!!!

as of now, chionging is burying miself in books trying to ADSORB de stuff frm it, as if im a sponge with VOID FRACTION -> 1... yah its synonymous to MUGGING... for now...

in another couple of days, chionging will be heading down to some CLUB, possibly de hottest in town, zouk, MOS, momo, velvet, dbl 0, DXO, etc, etc... n DANCE ALL NITE LONG, under some alcoholic influence haz!!!

studying dis sem had been a much better experience than previous... yea haz! can onie say its interesting when i studied wif dex, xinyi, n rus... it was totally AWESOME man!!! study together, joke together, bitch together, curse some particular person together... (see? we're essentially EVIL pplz!!! so dun cross us, or we add u in de list of de gonna-kena-cursed haz!)

gotta say, we might be de lamest ppl anyone can find in NUS already haz (wif de exception of zenov tt is... u dunno wad i mean, look below...) and frm our many often-distracted attempts of mugging, we coined many new terms to accompany us to understand our stuff well haz...

Disclaimer: below is extremely Chemical Engineering so if u dun really understand wad i say, dun fret haz...

CSTR (aka Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor)

a HARDCORE chemical engineering term about some reactor in de form of a tank, stirred up so that its composition is homogeneous, and follows tt of its outlet... well if u dunno wad i mean, TOO BAD!!!

we made a literal concept of the CSTR to be used in everyday conversation, bearing in mind its original definition, with reactor composition homogeneous and equal to outlet composition...

dun understand??? lets just say tt for a CSTR, reactor composition is HOMOGENEOUS and EQUAL to the outlet composition...

still dun understand??? well its either ure not suitable for chemical engineering or ure plainly a CSTR!!!

still dun understand??? ive got nuthing more to say... just go figure it out urself...

which does not mean TUBERCULOSIS or TERRABYTE as i thought it was... its known actually as TINY BLADDER!!! ok i think u guys shd noe wad it means n how it shd be used... i shant say anything more...

i really cant exactly say how dis one came out... but it really helped us to understand Residence Time Distribution (RTD) for a Plug Flow Reactor (PFR)... i guess chem engineers shd noe dis... but if u dunno, lets just say that the supposed output distribution will follow input...

ok back to XMA... better known as Xinyi Marching Analogy, it uses the model of soldiers marching orderly through some given distance... if soldier A marches past the start point, he will take some time T to reach end point... likewise, soldier B will take the same time T to reach end point after crossing start point... so the time taken for all soldiers will be T... each soldier is different, and cross the start point at different times, so essentially, the pattern crossing the end point will be the same as that at the start point, with a time lag of T...

now we model the flow as the marching soldiers, the start and end points as the reactor boundaries, and the space time of the PFR as T... it can be shown tt output RTD will follow the input, with a delay of space time... yea

not a very easy concept, but if u blur, go gather a grp of ppl n march ard some big open area, n u'll noe wad i mean hahaha!!! (hopefully no army officers or warrants see dis, or i'll be darn remorseful for causing additional hurt for de poor soldiers currently suffering in army now haz)

wah!!! darn tired frm all d assignment chionging n test preparation past few days! havent had time to rest n slack ever since de night cycling trip i had on friday... darn siong leh!!! haiz wad to do? exams coming lor!!!

tmr will be de last day of sch b4 study break... n it had to end wif a big BANG!!! a fricking test!!! argh darn!!! thr were also 2 assignments to be handed in tmr, which i took so much time to clear them... yea mi grp also handed in an 80pg lab report ytd, yea tt one which nearly burnt off mi weekend... its a darn siong week i tell ya! feel so tired aft all tt liao...

yah tmr evening i will be gg back to TJ!!! MARDI GRAS HERE I COME!!! im sooooo gonna enjoy tmr man!!!

i mite say, mugging brings out de worst in any person... such tt one might become irritable, intolerant to a fault, n just plain irritating... i think im becoming such a person haz...

really really have de feeling of bitching, esp when mi tolerance level comes to an all-time low...

ok wad i may write here nxt culd be harsh to some particular person... but i think he deserves all of it... just be happy tt im not gonna put in names to expose him...

dis person, for one, isnt worth de money NUS paid to him every month as a lecturer... n for someone whus parents have to fork out thousands of dollars, n even more frm our government whu shoulders most of de cost for us... it just sux i tell yah!!!

one: he cant fricking teach! and he dun seem to give any impression tt he understands wad he teaches! he has a fricking PhD for gods sake!!! but y can he only read de lecture notes to us per-se, n seriously fumbles when attempting to elaborate on his points, which he so seldom does? its real! he reads de notes to us word-for-word, n at de points when he tries to elaborate, he has to stare at de slides for minutes, before just giving up elaborating anything and continue wif his recital... wad kinda lecturer is tt???

two: he turns up a good 20mins late for his lectures, which i wun tok abt cos he has done it soooo darn often! it came to a point tt i just culdnt be bothered to attend his class anymore... n he actually did it worse during a recent test... HIS test!!! we were told tt de test was to start at 9am in de morning, and by then, most if not all of de ppl were already thr! wad really pissed me off is tt his 2 teaching assts came onie at 9.30am, and he, 9.45am!!! is tt called responsibility??? making 300 ppl wait for him, 45 mins late??? late to a time he had set HIMSELF??? n y were his teaching assistants late too, onie appearing 30mins aft de supposed start??? did he purposely tell them to turn up at 9.30am??? ATROCIOUS!!!

three: dis person does not put any effort into his work!!! i didn noe whether to laff or wad when i saw de test paper he set for us... ok for de truth, i laffed loudly... ok i think anyone ChE yr 2 whu reads dis will noe whus penning dis... its de guy whu laffed heartily b4 de paper started, n in fact nearly choked on his laffter... yea... back to de paper, all 5 qns were set in previous papers! of which 4 of them came frm de same previous paper! now i ask ya... for one whu has tried de past papers, wads de meaning of dis test??? just another one to score in??? so yah wads de point??? it does not challenge de ppl whu r taking de test, on whether they really understand their work or wad... so y set such a test paper??? ive taken tougher tests, which r actually coined up by lecturers purely frm their knowledge, imagination and experiences... GENUINE TESTS which HAVE NEVER SURFACED B4!!! i noe those tests r tough, n really not easy to score, but it challenges!!! when i manage to conquer those qns, i feel accomplished n happy!!! but wad abt dis test??? so wad if i can do??? its pointless!!! yea aft de test i took out de papers i attempted to prep for dis test, in front of him when he was nearby... he looked over mi shoulders n onto de qns he just set, complete with solutions!!! well u think i didn noe u saw it??? i did it on purpose ok!!! its for u to WAKE UP UR FRICKING IDEA!!!

yea again, for tt PhD guy... WAKE UP UR FRICKING IDEA!!! dun waste de potential of dis module, n play no part in imparting us any knowledge... it will not gain u any respect... onie despise and scorn!!!

Yah think i really really nid tt... not tt im complaining la... but i really find miself way too slack dis sem... really a "shadow" of mi muggerish self in de past haz...

just imagine...

i went to sentosa n played de luge, de darn fun open-air cable car n luge, while ppl r mugging for exams...

i went all ard sg to eat those nice hawker food, being a foodie like all sg shd be, while ppl r mugging for exams...

i went swimming, suntanning n jacuzzing, letting all tt water n sunlight bathe mi body, while ppl r mugging for exams...

i went HMV to window shop for CDs, shun bian stay thr for hrs to sample nice music, while ppl r mugging for exams...

i went to some cafes, sat down at de comfy seats, sipping a robust cup of doppio macchiato, watching de world pass me by, while ppl r mugging for exams...

see now? im damn slack la!!! think im gonna die soon...

oh for all muggers out thr... jealous rite? whu ask u to mug so hard? hahaha...

ok crap... im gonna sleep... aspire to be a mugger frm tmr onwards!!!

ok now its time to get serious... dun have much time left to de exams, n im still slacking like nobody's business...

guess i must have been blessed or wad... i havent put in much effort as yet, n still culd miraculously catch up with de pace, if not just trailing behind by a bit...

but not anymore... now tt exams draw near, i find miself having a lot of nonsensical tests n assignments coming soon... yah i think its gonna be horrible... nuthing ive seen dis sem as yet, more like a deja vu of last sem... but it will pass i hope... wad i can do now is to start mi due assignments earlier so tt i culd still have those weekends tt i can relac, or mebe study for exams?

yea exams... ppl r mugging... deep in it... but i dun think ive even started! seriously, de idea of exams coming only started to bother me very very recently mebe like dis afternoon? haz... shit im soooo slack! someone help me!

i still wan mi free time! i still wanna watch movies! havent watch V for vendetta yet... n thrs tristan n isolde, inside man, the new world... arrr damn! i wanna watch them! better try to eke out some free time to indulge in them haz... mebe during de mugging period? omg no!!!

i still wanna swim n tan! but dis frickin weather is not letting me! keep raining when im about to go down for some swimming... arrrgh!!!
