i cant really predict whu will win World Cup 2006, but by now, im rather certain germany will not win... soree to all fans of germany...
i was treated to a dismal performance by tt team last nite!!! one of de worst showings of germany i had ever seen!!! porous defence, a midfield which is not effective given its manpower, and mostly, a goalkeeper whu does not noe wad he shd do!!!
yes, de goalkeeper... jens lehmann!!! whr had ur form in arsenal disappeared to??? it was due to ur superb skills, vision n leadership in de gunners backline tt ure chosen over oliver kahn as no.1!!! y de disappointment dis time??? u saw a free-running striker coming at ur goal, y didn u act??? y did u just root urself??? twice tt happened, n they were costa ricas onie 2 real chances!!! which rounds up to say, u didn contribute!!! Klinsmann shd consider taking u out n replacing wif Kahn... Face it, ure not ready to be de german no.1...
defence, bad... real bad...allowing wanchope to free-run into ur penalty box on a couple of occasions says it all already... it had become obvious early in de game tt costa rica was solely depending on wanchope to run in n deliver de goals, n no one marked him!!! terrible!!! if ur defence cant keep out one striker frm costa rica, how de hell r u gonna cope wif 3 brazillian strikers or maybe wayne rooney n co??? if dis is de way u gonna play, prepare to concede at least 5 goals to de likes of brazil, england, italy n france... WAKE UP!!!
midfield, de same 5-man formation as 4 yrs ago... but performance-wise, a far cry!!! to think i hailed ur 5-man midfield as one of de world's best then... i take it back now... imagine a midfield tt takes out half de players in ur team, n still culd let loose balls to costa rica??? atrocious i wuld say... again, beware of de top teams if u ever meet them...
i do hope tt i wuld not see such disappointing performances again in dis World Cup... champions shd play like champions!!! not like some amateur soccer team...
